지리산개별꽃[석죽과 개별꽃속]

지리산에 자라는 개별꽃은 큰개별꽃과 다른 특이 점이 지리산개별꽃으로 별도 분류한다

1. 줄기 끝에 붙는 4장의 잎이 서로 근접하여 돌려난 것처럼 보인다.

2. 꽃은 꽃잎과 꽃받침이 각 5장.

3. 꽃자루에 1~2줄의 흰털이 있고, 줄기에는 2줄의 고부라진 털이 있다.

4. 줄기의 아래쪽에서 가지를 친다.

5. 뿌리는 방추형으로 서로 연결되어 있고 가지를 친다
