쇠별꽃[석죽과 별꽃속]

어느 곳에서나 잘 자라고 꽃도 봄부터 가을까지 피는 생명력이 강한 식물이다.

별꽃과 매우 흡사하지만 별꽃은 암술머리가 3갈래로 갈라지지만 쇠별꽃은 암술머리가 5갈래로 갈라진다

꽃 피는 시기는 별꽃이 3~4월이고, 쇠별꽃은 조금 늦게 피기 시작하여 늦가을까지 핀다.
