왕별꽃[석죽과 별꽃속]

별꽃 종류 중에서 꽃이 가장 커서 왕별꽃이다. 산지의 풀밭이나 강가에서 자라는 여러해살이풀로 줄기는 높이

40~60cm이고 윗부분에서 가지가 조금 갈라진다.

꽃은 6~9월에 흰색으로 피는데 줄기 끝이나 잎겨드랑이에 달리며 꽃잎은 5장이고 끝이 5~7갈래로 갈라져서

깃 모양이 된다. 한반도의 북부지방에 자생하는 북방계 식물이다
