큰망초[국화과 망초속]

이름처럼 키가 사람 키만큼 자라지만 꽃은 아주 작고 망초와 다르게 설상화가

꽃부리 밖으로 나오지 않는다.

우리나라 남부 지방과 제주도에 자라는데 로젯 형태로 겨울을 나는 2년생 풀이다.

꽃은 7~9월에 머리 모양으로 핀다
