가시여뀌[마디풀과 여뀌속]

붉은 가시가 꽃대와 줄기에 빽빽하게 난 여뀌로 산자락에서 자라는 한새살이풀이다.

7~9월에 연한 홍색의 꽃이 피며 줄기는 녹색에서 붉은 색으로 변해서 전체가 붉은 가시나무로 보인다.

꽃이 핀 모습을 보기가 쉽지 않아서 매번 봉우리만 담았는데 올 해는 활짝 핀 꽃을 만났다.
