산철쭉[진달래과]

골짜기 계곡에 산철쭉이 한창이다

흔히 집이나 공원의 화단에 조경용으로 많이 심는 이 꽃은 산철쭉이고 철쭉은 꽃이 연한색으로 키가 크며 산에서

자란다. 먹을 수 있는 진달래는 참꽃, 독성이 있어 먹지 못하는 철쭉은 개꽃이라고 불렀으며

물가에 피는 진달래라 하여 수달래라는 예쁜 이름으로도 부른다

 

비교용 철쭉, 꽃색이 연하고 키가 크다. 흔히 연달래라고도 한다
