"풀또기" 이름이 너무 예쁘다.
북쪽지방의 석회암 지대에 자라는 작은 키의 나무인데 강원도의 석회암 지대에서도 드물게 자생하는 꽃이다
현재는 식물원에서나 볼 수 있는 꽃이며 만첩풀또기는 풀또기의 일종이지마 꽃이 겹꽃인 점이 다르며
조경용으로 식재하고 있다
얼핏 보기에는 옥매와 비슷하지만 잎의 모양이 전혀 다른 모습이다
