덤불조팝나무[장미과 조팝나무속]

강원도의 높은 산 능선부에서 담은 덤불조팝나무다

꽃은 흰색이지만 화반이 붉은색이라서 마치 붉은색 꽃이 피는 것처럼 보인다

수술이 아원형의 꽃잎보다 2~3배 가량 길고, 어린가 지는 황색이며 능각이 있으며

늙은 가지는 회백색이다.

잎은 넓은 피침형이며 얇고 가장자리에 겹톱니가 있으며, 표면에는 털이 없으나

뒷면 맥위에 털이 있고 뒷면은 회록색이다
