꼬리조팝나무[장미과]

조팝나무는 익어서 벌어진 열매의 모양이 좁쌀로 지은 조법처럼 생겼다고 붙인 이름이다

조밥나무가 변하여 조팝나무가 되었다.

조펍나무는 종류가 많은데 꼬리조팝나무는 늦봄부터 여름까지 가지 끝의 긴 꽃대에 분홍색꽃이

원뿔모양을 이루며 꼬리처럼 달려서 꼬리조팝나무라는 이름이 붙었다.
