우산고로쇠[단풍나무과 단풍나무속]

울릉도에 자라는 식물의 이름에는 섬, 울릉이라는 접두어와 함께 우산이라는 접두어가

붙는 것이 많다. 울릉도의 옛 지명인 우산국에서 유래한 것일 것이다.

우산고로쇠는 키가 20m에 달하는 큰키나무로 잎자루가 길며 잎이 손바닥 모양으로

6~9개로 갈라지고 밑은 심장형이다
