덩굴용담[용담과 좁은잎덩굴용담속]

산지의 응달에서 드물게 자라는 여러해살이풀이며 줄기가 땅 위로 뻗거나 다른 식물을 감고 올라가며 보라색을 띤다.

잎은 마주나며 긴 달걀 모양 또는 둥근 피침형이다.

꽃은 9~10월에 위쪽 잎겨드랑이에 1개씩 달리며 자주색 또는 흰색이다. 경상북도, 울릉도, 제주도에 자생한다.
