며느리배꼽[마디풀과 여뀌속]

며느리가 미워서 붙여진 이름인 것 같은데, 잎자루에 잎이 붙는 위치가 잎의 가운데 쪽으로 치우쳐 있기 때문에

잎의 표면에 잎자루가 붙은 자욱이 배꼽모양으로 보여서 며느리배꼽이라는 이름이 붙었다.

며느리밑씻개와 같이 줄기와 잎자루에 밑을 향한 날카로운 가시 있고 꽃은 아주 작으며 흰색으로 핀다.

열매는 녹색 - 붉은색 - 루비색으로 변하며 익는다
