당개지치[지치과 당개지치속]

높은 산 숲속에 자라는 여러해살이풀로 줄기가 곧추서며 40cm 정도로 자란다.

잎은 어긋나며 줄기 위쪽에서는 촘촘하게 달려 5~6장이 돌려난 것처럼 보인다.

꽃은 4~5월에 피고 총상꽃차레에 몇 개가 달리며 자주색 또는 보라색이다. 전라북도 장안산, 적상산 이북에 자생한다.
