알방동사니[사초과 방동사니속]

논밭, 습지 등에 흔하게 자라는 한해살이풀이며 줄기는 모여 나고 세모나며 밋밋하다.

잎은 선형이고 줄기보다 길거나 짧다. 꽃은 8~10월에 피는데 작은 이삭이 모여서 머리 모양 꽃차례를 이루며 지름

1cm 정도이다. 작은이삭은 어두운 밤색이고 열매는 타원형이고 세모나며 윤기가 난다
