갯방동사니[사초과 방동사니속]

바닷가에 가까운 풀밭이나 모래땅에 자라는 여러해살이풀로서 줄기는 곧게 서고 모여 나며 높이 10~40cm다.

이 종은 꽃차레가 붉은 색을 띠며 작은 이삭이 모여 달리는 것이 특색이며 열매는 도란형으로 흑갈색이고

납작한다.
