애기괭이밥[괭이밥과 괭이밥속]

깊은 산속의 반그늘 바위의 이끼 위에서 자라는 여러해살이 풀이다

같은 종에 속하는 큰괭이밥에 비해 식물체가 작다고 하여 애기괭이밥이라고 부르며

괭이밥과의 식물은 신맛이 강한데 고양이가 체했을 때 이 종류의 풀을 뜯어 먹는다 하여

괭이밥이라고 이름을 지었다고 한다
