큰괭이밥[괭이밥과 괭이밥속]

산골짜기의 양지쪽 숲 속에서 자라는 여러해살이 풀이며 3~5월에 잎이 나오기 전에 꽃이 핀다.

꽃은 1개씩 피며 붉은색이 도는 백색이고 잎은 긴 잎자루 끝에서 3개의 소엽이 옆으로 퍼진다

식물체는 다른 괭이밥 종류와 같이 신맛이 나며 먹을 수 있고 잎을 옴이나 벌레에 쏘였을 때 바른다.
