선괭이밥[괭이밥과 괭이밥속]

길가나 빈터에 흔하게 자라는 들괭이밥과 매우 흡사하여 들괭이밥으로 착각하기 쉽다

들괭이밥은 들에 자라고 줄기 밑부분이 옆으로 뻗으며, 뿌리를 내리고 새싹이 돋아

무리를 이루며 자라는데 비해 선괭이밥은 산자락에 자라며 뿌리가 곧게 박히고

뿌리에서 새싹이 돋지 않아서 한 개체씩 자란다
