털진달래[진달래과 진달래속]

설악산 대청봉에는 털진달래가 활짝펴서 장관이다

털진달래는 진달래와 다르게 고산지대에서 자란다

개화시기가 5~6월로 늦고 꽃이 작으며 어린가지와 잎에 털이 많이 난다
