개여뀌[마디풀과 여뀌속]

벼가 누렇게 익어가는 논두렁에 개여뀌가 멍석을 펼친 듯 꽃잔치를 벌이고 있다

키가 20~50cm로 작고 줄기가 비스듬히 자라며, 땅에 닿으면 뿌리를 내린다

다른 여뀌 종류와 다르게 많은 개체가 모여서 자란다.
