당잔대[초롱꽃과 잔대속]

키는 60~100cm 정도로 자라고 도라지 같은 굵은 뿌리가 있다.

줄기에 달린 잎은 어긋나고 넓은 난형으로 양끝이 좁고 가장자리에 거친 톱니가 있다

암술이 꽃부리 밖으로 나오진 않고 꽃받침 겉에 짧은 백색털이 밀생한다
