떡쑥[국화과 떡쑥속]

들에서 흔하게 자라는 두해살이풀이다. 전체에 흰 솜털이 많고 줄기는 곧추서며 높이 15~40cm이다

4~7월에 노란색 꽃이 피고 옛날에 이 꽃으로 떡을 만들어 먹어서 떡쑥이라 부른다.
