박주가리[박주가리과 박주가리속]

들에서 흔히 자라는 덩굴성 여러해살이풀이며 줄기는 2~4m 정도로 자라고 자르면 흰색의 즙이 나온다.

꽃은 7~8월에 연한 자주색 또는 흰색으로 핀다. 화관은 넓은 종모양이고 열매는 골돌이며 길쭉한 타원형으로

겉이 울퉁불퉁하다.  씨앗은 우산 털이 있어 종자를 멀리 날려 보낸다. 우산 털은 인주를 만드는 데 사용한다
