중나리[백합과 백합속]

중나리는 참나리와 아주 비슷하게 생겨서 얼핏 봐서는 구분이 않된다.

참나리느 주로 바닷가 바위틈이나 물가의 제방 등에 자라는 것과 다르게 중나리는

충청 이북의 산지에서 자란다.

또한 참나리는 잎 겨드랑이에 주아(살눈)가 까맣게 달려서 주아와 종자로 번식을 하지만

중나리는 주아도 없고 종자 결실이 되지 않아 알줄기에서 땅속 줄기가 30~50cm 정도

벋어나가 새싹이 돋는다

 

중나리는 잎겨드랑이에 주아가 달리지 않는다

 

[비교용] 참나리의 주아 : 참나리는 잎겨드랑이에 주아가 달리고 이 주아가 땅에 떨어지면 뿌리를 내린다
