흰갈퀴[꼭두서니과 갈퀴덩굴속]

뿌리는 가늘고 붉은색을 띤다. 줄기는 30-60cm 정도로 곧게 자라거나

덩굴지며 밑을 향한 가시와 능선이 있고 단면은 사각형이다.

잎은 4-6장씩 돌려나고 긴 타원형이다

꽃은 6-7월에 흰색으로 핀다
