대극[대극과 대극속]

뿌리는 굵고 곧다. 줄기는 한 개 또는 여러 개가 모여나고

40~80cm로 위쪽에서 가지가 갈라진다.

잎은 타원형이고 잔 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 5-6월에 배상꽃차레에 피고

열매는 삭과로 둘글에 익는다
