서양민들레의 대부분이 붉은씨서양민들레 이다.

붉은씨서양민들레는 열매가 붉거나 붉은빛이 돌며,

꽃받침의 바깥쪽에 쇠뿔 모양의 돌기가 있어서 서양민들레와

구분되며, 잎과 꽃이 더 크다
