갯부추[백합과 부추속]

바닷가에 자라는 갯부추는 잎이 상록성이고, 잎몸은 윤기가 나며, 거의 편평하고 너비가 넓다.

산부추나 참산부추 같은 다른 부추속 식물보다 꽃차례가 크고 잎이 두껍다.

이종은 일본에 분포하는 식물인데, 우리나라에서는 2006년도에 거문도에서 처음으로 분포가 발견되었으며

전라남도와 경상남도의 바닷가에 분포한다
