산꼬리풀[현삼과 꼬리풀속]

해발고도 600~800m의 빛이 잘 드는 산지에 자라며 줄기는 곧추서고 40~90cm 정도로 자란다.

꽃은 8월에 연한 하늘색으로 핀다.

우리나라 꼬리풀속 가운데 산꼬리풀은 잎에 톱니만 있을 뿐 갈라지지 않으며 잎자루가 거의 없는 피침형이고

꽃은 여러개가 무리 지어 피는 특징이 있다.

 

간혹 흰색꽃이 피는 산꼬리풀도 있다
