절굿대[국화과 절굿대속]

꽃이 절구공이를 닮았나요. 내 눈에는 가시 방망이로 보이는데.

주로 석회암 지대에 자라며 뿌리가 굵고, 깊이 들어가며 전체에 흰털이 있다.

키는 100~150cm 정도이며, 잎에는 엉겅퀴 잎처럼 가시가 있다. 꽃은 7~8월에 머리 모양 꽃차례로 피며

푸른 보라색이다.
