민솜방망이[국화과 산솜방망이속]

고산지대 물기가 많은 풀밭에서 드물게 자라는 여러해살이풀이다.

줄기는 곧추서며 높이는 30 ~ 100cm 정도이며 네모지며 털이 거의 없다. 꽃은 7~9월에 줄기 끝에 모리 모양으로

2~10개가 우산살 처럼 달리며 붉은색이 도는 노란색이다. 가장자리에 늘어진 혀 꽃이 피고 안쪽에 관모양의 꽃이 핀다

강원도 이북의 산속 물기 많은 곳에서 피며 산솜방망이와 아주 흡사하나 잎에 털이 없는 점이 다르다.
