세잎쥐손이 [쥐손이풀과 쥐손이풀속]

산과 들의 숲 가장자리에서 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 

줄기는 아래쪽이 옆으로 눕고 마디가 굵으며 키는 30~80cm이고 구부러진 털이 많다.

잎은 마주나기 이며 아래쪽 잎은 5갈래로 갈라지지만 그 외의 잎은 3갈래로 깊게 갈라진다.

꽃은 8~10월에 잎겨드랑이에서 난 꽃대에서 2개씩 피며 연한 붉은색이다.

이질풀과 비슷하지만 잎이 3갈래로 크게 갈라지고 샘털이 없어서 구분되며

또한 턱잎이 각각 떨어져 있기 때문에 둥근이질풀을 비롯하여 턱잎이기부에서 합처진 종들과 구분이 된다.

쥐손이 풀과는 꽃이 잎겨드랑이에서 피는 것으로 구별이 된다
