큰꽃으아리[미나리아재비과 으아리속]

으아리 종류 중에서 꽃이 제일 커서 큰꽃으아리'라는 이름이  붙었다.

제주를 제외한 전국의 양지바른 산자락에 흔히 자라며 길이 2~4m 정도로 벋는 덩굴줄기는

가늘고 갈며잔털이 있다. 

5~6월에 피는 꽃은 백색 또는 연한 자주색으로 꽃잎은 없고 꽃잎 같은 꽃받침이 8개가 있다.

비슷한 꽃으로 위령선이 있는데 꽃자루에 포가 있는 점과 꽃받침의 수에서 차이가 난다.
