참으아리[미나리아재비과 으아리속]

(참으아리 : 꽃받침이 4장인 으아리)

 

으아리가 6~7월에 꽃이 피는 것에 비해 남쪽의 바닷가에 자라는 참으아리는 7~9월에 꽃이 핀다.

으아리류는 꽃잎이 없고 꽃잎처럼 보이는 것은 꽃받침이다.

참으아리 : 꽃받침이 4개.  잎 끝이 뾰족하지 않고 둥그스름한 것.  열매에 깃털을 가진 긴 암술대가 있다.
