모시풀[쐐기풀과 모시풀속]

요즈음은 모시옷의 재료보다 모시 송편의 재료로 더 많이 쓰이는 듯하다

여러해살이풀로 묵은 줄기는 목질화 되고 높이 1~2m 정도로 자라며,

잎은 난상 원형으로 끝은 꼬리처럼 길고 가장자리에 톱니가 있다

잎의 앞면은 녹색, 뒷면은 솜털이 밀생하여 흰색을 띤다.
