자잘한 보라색 꽃이 꽃방석을 깔아 놓은 듯이 길 한편을 온통 뒤덮고 있다

참꽃마리는 꽃차레에 잎이 달리고 잎겨드랑이에서 1개씩의 꽃대가 나와 총상꽃차레를 이루고

덩굴꽃마리는 꽃대 끝에서 꽃이 모여서 핀다
