꽃여뀌[마디풀과 여뀌속]

꽃여뀌'라는 이름처럼 참 예쁜 여뀌이다

뿌리줄기는 옆으로 길게 뻗고, 줄기는 원기중 모양이며 곧추 자란다

원줄기는 가지가 적고 단단하며 마디가 뚜렷하고 수염 같은 긴 털이 있다

잎은 피침형으로 양끝이 좁고 길며, 잎 표면과 가장자리 및 뒷면 맥 위에 거센털이 있다

꽃은 암수 딴그루에 피며 연한 홍색이다
