갯메꽃[메꽃과 메꽃속]

바닷가 모래땅에 자라는 사구식물로 땅속줄기는 굵고 길게 뻗고, 지상 줄기는 땅 위를 기거나 다른 물체를 감고

올라가며 길이 30~80cm이다.

잎은 어긋나며 신장형으로 끝이 오목하거나 둥글고 두꺼우며 윤기가 있다

꽃은 5~6월에 분홍색으로 핀다
