투구꽃 [미나리아재비과 초오속]

초오속 식물은 뿌리가 검은 색이라서 초오(草烏) 라고 부르는데 독성이 강하여 사약으로 사용했다고 한다

산 중에서 자라는 여러해살이풀이며 9~10월에 자주색 또는 흰색의 꽃이 피는데 꽃받침이 투구를 닮아서

투구꽃이라 부른다. 씨방은 3~5개로 갈라지며 골돌은 타원형이다.
