강원도와 경북지방에 자라는 2년생풀로서 키가 150cm 까지 자라고 잎이 깃처럼 깊게 갈라진다
꽃은 8~10월에 피고 원줄기 끝과 가지 끝에 달려 산방상으로 된다.
