용버들[버드나무과 버드나무속]

상상의 동물인 용은 하늘을 향해 구불구불하게 날아오르는

모습을 하고 있다. 용버들의 가지는 구불구불하며서 버들의 특성대로

아래로 처져있다.  그 모습에서 승천하려는 용이 상상되므로 용버들이라 한다
