올괴불나무[인동과 인동속]

괴불나무 류는 열매가 쌍으로 붙어 달리는데

이 모양이 개의 불알을 연상 시킨다 하여 '개불알나무'라고

부르던 것이 괴불나무가 되었다.

올괴불나무는 괴불나무 종류 중에 가장 먼저 꽃이 핀다 하여

'먼저' "'빠르다' 등을 뜻하는 '올'이 붙어 올괴불나무가 되었다
