서양고추나물[물레나물과 물레나물속]

관상용, 약용으로 재배하던 것이 야생화되어 풀밭에 자라는 여러해살이풀이다

줄기는 높이 20~80cm로 아래쪽이 목질화되며, 가지를 많이 치고 2개의 능선이 세로로 발달한다.

잎은 좁은 타원형이며 가장자리와 뒷면에 검은 점이 있다.

꽃은 채고추나물처럼 굽어있고 한쪽에만 둔한 톱니가 있다
