백작약[미나리아재비과]

산지에서 자라는 숙근성 여러해살이 풀.

뿌리을 위장병, 강장제 등으로 사용하기 때문에 약초꾼들이 선호하여 수난을 격는 꽃이다.

약초로 재배하거나 관사용으로 화단에 심는 작약(함박꽃)과 흡사한 모습이지만 꽃이 작고 홑꽃이며 잎의 모양데서도
