개머루[포도과 개머루속]

산기슭과 골짜기에 자라는 낙엽 덩굴나무이다. 줄기는 4~6m로 자라고 껍질은 갈색이며 마디가 불룩하다.

2개로 갈라진 덩굴손이 다른 나무를 감고 올라가며 자란다.

꽃은 6~7월에 녹색으로 피며 열매는 9~10월에 연한 보라색으로 익는다. 먹을 수 없으며 간염, 신장염 등의

약재로 사용한다
