좀바위솔[돌나물과 바위솔속]
높은 산의 바위 겉에서 자라는 여러해살이풀로서 키가 작은 바위솔이라는 뜻이며 흔히 애기바위솔이라고도 한다.
제주도를 제외한 전국의 고산지대에서 자라며 키는 10~15cm이고 바람이 잘 통하는 곳에서 자란다.
전체가 연한 붉은색을 띠며 잎은 다육질이고 둥글고 좁은 타원형이다.
꽃은 분홍색과 흰색의 두 종류가 있고 9~10월에 피며 이삭꽃차례에 빽빼하게 달린다
