윤판나물은 전국에 자라지만 윤판나물아재비는 제주도, 울릉도, 가거도에만 자란다
줄기는 곧추서며, 위쪽에서 가지가 갈라지고 높이 30~60cm이다
꽃은 5~6월에 피는데 노란색꽃이 피는 윤판나물과 다르게 녹색이 도는 흰색으로 핀다
