한라산에는 백두산 주변에 피는 달구풀보다 작은 제주달구지풀이 있다
줄기가 옆으로 누워서 자라고, 잎은 엽병이 거의 없는 5장의 작은잎으로 구성된
정상복엽이다.
꽃은 8월에 피는데 줄기 끝에 두상화서로 달리며, 10~20개의 꽃이 부채살 모양으로
펼쳐진다
