현삼과 여러해살이풀
습기가 많은 물가 또는 산지의 계곡가에 자라는 여러해 살이 풀로서
잎이 깃꼴로 갈라지며 꽃대는 뿌리에서 나온다
꽃은 4~5월에 연한 홍색으로 핀다
